* Stocker : Automatic storage system Audit of LOEWE - General Company makes from equipment and clean-lines a very good impression (European standard) and is UL certified. Plastic granulate will be fed to the injection machines from the first floor. Not used tools stored inside the injection room. The only thing missing is a preventive maintenance of tools and machines. This should be implemented at least for tools after each 30,000 short to avoid problems during injection process (avoids longer time of no production) and for a continuos good quality. Cooling line after injection is implemented for plastic parts if necessary to avoid deforming. At each line a worker is judging the plastic parts in accordance to written working instructions and is packing the parts. We found at no injection machine that the worker must rework the plastic parts e.g. cutting some fins etc. And no release agent was used (must not be used in case plastic parts will be spray painted) At some machines a robot is installed for de-molding. The plastic part currently in production (for DR own DECT model, HS for US cordless) are from a good surface quality. All in all the company is able to produce plastic parts in accordance to LT standard, but has no equipment for silk screening or spray painting. - Employees : 45 - Available equipment 17 injection from 85 to 200 tons (which are 1 to 7 years old and in very good condition) and additional equipment. According to Hubsung Plastics the machines will be replaced by new ones after 5 to 7 years. |
